As a design leader with experience across physical products, vehicles, and health technology, I’m passionate about creating impactful, user-centred solutions that combine design excellence with technical innovation.
At Heatherwick Studio, I lead industrial design and product development on high-profile projects spanning mobility, consumer electronics, and public installations. I manage concept development through to production—overseeing visioning, CAD, prototyping, design for manufacture, and stakeholder alignment—ensuring creative integrity and real-world feasibility. I lead a team of designers to deliver work of global standard.
In parallel, I’m a founding team member at Early, a health-tech company spun out of the studio. I lead the end-to-end product experience—across industrial design, UX/UI, and early prototyping—for a new category of home diagnostics. This work blends hardware, electronics, and behavioural design, empowering users to track and understand early signs of illness at home.
My work is grounded in a deep interest in how people interact with objects and systems. I’m especially drawn to simplifying complex technologies into emotionally resonant experiences—whether it’s a car that purifies the air or a diagnostic reader that quietly blends into daily routines.
As a design leader, I prioritise clarity, collaboration, and growth. I emphatically nurture multidisciplinary teams to perform at their best, and build consensus across disceplines. This leadership style was instrumental in delivering the Tree of Trees for the Queen’s Jubilee—a landmark installation executed under intense time pressure and cross-sector coordination.
I’d love the opportunity to contribute my skills in design leadership, physical product design, UX/UI, strategic thinking, and systems integration to your team.
